The Divine Mercy Chaplet

The Divine Mercy Chaplet

It was the Polish nun St Faustina who had a divine message from Jesus to pray The Divine Mercy Chaplet – now recited daily at 3.00 pm by over one million Catholics. This Devotion promises that ‘this is the hour of great mercy….I will refuse nothing to the soul that makes a request of Me in virtue of My Passion’ (Diary:1320)
Divine Mercy Chaplet devotion is on the third Sunday every month except the month when Easter occurs in which case it is replaced with Divine Mercy Sunday being the Sunday after Easter Sunday. Each service will start at 2.30 pm with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament with readings followed at 3.00 pm with The Chaplet and further readings. Refreshments will be served in the hall afterwards. There is no need to book. Further details from the Parish Office: also please contact the Parish Office if you would like to assist in helping  to lead The Chaplet or are willing to help with refreshments afterwards.
