Our Mission
In our parish our Hardship Group is dedicated to providing compassionate support and practical assistance to those facing difficult times. We strive to create a welcoming and inclusive community where individuals can find solace, encouragement and resources to overcome life’s challenges. Through faith fellowship and service, we aim to uplift and empower each other, fostering a spirit of hope and resilience.
In practical terms we aim to engage with individuals or families to try and understand why this individual or family is in hardship. Is there a simple fix or is the problem more serious? So that together we can make a positive difference in their lives.
How can we help you?
We have identified several religious, community, and charitable organizations in the Bracknell area that have extensive experience in supporting those facing hardship. When assessing an individual’s or family’s situation, and with their consent, we will either recommend an organization that we both believe is best suited to provide assistance or explore support options within the church.
With the agreement of the family or individual concerned, we could either pass the details of the particular case to the other organisation or the Hardship Group would liaise with this other organisation on behalf of the individual or family.
We would then both agree a plan of action and put it into effect, monitoring progress as the weeks go by.
