OTHER WAYS TO DONATE
Gift Aid is a scheme that allows charities to reclaim tax on donations made by a UK taxpayer. This means that your donation will be worth 25% more to us at no extra cost to you. If you Gift Aid your donations we can claim back from the government, 25p for every £1 you donate.
If you are a UK taxpayer, simply:
- Complete a Gift Aid Declaration (download form)
- Make future donations by direct debit (download form) or by cash/cheque in the offertory plate using the envelopes in the porch.
After Easter, anybody who pays by standing order or direct debit and gives Gift Aid will need to sign a new Gift Aid mandate. This is due to the diocese changing its name and legal entity
